We saw some interesting and beautiful wildlife
on the road to Hana.
on the road to Hana.The only ceature you may not recognise is the mongoose
which was introduced to combat the rats wich were introduced to Maui from the trading ships. The other interesting example is the beautiful young virgin preparing to bathe in one of the seven sacred pools - I was unable to determine the spirtual significance. We were also going to bahe but it was too cold - being mountain water.
