Arrived in Ottawa.

Arrived safely in Ottawa but the GPS let us down and got us lost. We overshot Ottawa by about an hour - would you believe there are two 180 McFarlane Sts in this neck of the woods. We knew something was wrong when the gps wanted us to put the car on a ferry at a place called Cumberland.

Alls well that ends well - we reprogrammed using the other 180 McFarlane St....

The goodnews is that our hotel is right in the middle of the restaurant quarter of Ottawa and a short walk to the city centre - plus its internet system is working - not like the last hotel at Niagara on the Lake.

You will no doubt notice that I have corrected my spelling of Niagara - thanks to Mick for pointing out that it is not spelt like Viagra - the thought did cross my mind that nobody has capitalised on that.

We are well and happy and will be posting some photos right away.
